Manchester Town Hall
It is a Victorian gothic building; the Manchester Town Hall is used for events such as: wedding, conferences, meetings or award ceremonies. Francis Goodwin designed it and it was built during 1822-1825. However, it was modified by the architect Alfred Waterhouse in 1877. The history of the Middle Ages inspired its design. The Town Hall was declared as a Grade I listed building by English Heritage in 1952. Manchester Town hall has many murals inside, these murals show parts of the history in Manchester. It also houses some departments of local government.

Beetham Tower
It is the most famous landmark of Manchester, it was designed by Ian Simpson and was built by Carillion in 2007; it is located in the city centre, the Beetham Tower is the tallest building in Manchester and the 9th tallest one across the UK. Hilton Hotels Corporation is the owner of this building; it is a 5 star Hilton Hotel, the most luxurious across Manchester. Its main feature is that offers a best view of all Manchester, it is also possible to see Liverpool and the Pennines mountain range. It is also known colloquially as the Hilton Tower, because this corporation placed its logo on the 24th storey plan floor.

Opera House
The Opera House is located on Quay street; this theatre opened its doors in 1912. People know it for being a stage of The Phantom of the Opera movie. The most important Opera concerts, ballet shows and musicals take place in this theatre. It is a Grade II listed building. It is one of the largest theatres in Manchester; it has a Greek style with modern details. Many popular group Many famous singers and musical groups such as: Goirillaz and Ringo Star presented their shows there. People can get a ticket by internet to see any show at this theater.

Manchester Art Gallery
The municipally-owned art gallery is located in Mosley Street, it has a great collection of Flemish and Italian painters; the most notable collection is Pre-Raphaelite paintings. The Manchester Murals is a series of twelve murals of Manchester's history; these paintings are the most popular work in this gallery. It is open to the public across the year; the entrance is free, except where private functions take place.

University of Manchester
Hertford College is one of the colleges that compound the University of Manchester in England. It's located in the historical centre of the city, at the end of Broad Street. This college was founded under the name of Hart Hall in 1282. It has one of the most important libraries in the city; this library has several books from the XVII century.

Manchester Cathedral
It is one of the few surviving medieval buildings in Manchester; this church is dedicated to St. Mary; it has a Gothic style out and inside. Its official mane is:"The Cathedral and Collegiate Church of St. Mary, St. Denys and St. George in Manchester", but people know it as: "St. Mary's", "Christ Church" or simply, t'owd church. The Cathedral is a Grade I listed building, it hosts a large parish and historical archives other attractions are: its 10 bells and the 16th-century misericords.
